Simplified In-flight Skincare Routine

The in-flight skincare is the beginning of the year-end tour enjoyment, so it shouldn't be overlooked.

As you all know, I went to Bangkok this year, and it really isn't far from Singapore, only a two hours flight. Nevertheless, the short flight did not stop me from bringing my skincare on.

It is a short one because the 2 hours is only enough for a nap.

So here's what I brought (from left to right in photo below),
i) Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes,
ii) Avene Thermal Water,
iii) Laneige Water Sleeping Pack sample sachets,
iv) L'occitane Hand Cream with A.O.C Lavender essential oil from Haute Provence, and
v) Avene Very High Protection Cream SPF 50+ UVA UVB for Dry Sensitive Skin.

These products do change, and are not cast in stone.***

I first wiped my face with the Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes, then open the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack sachet, and massage the mask into my face.

I put on my ear plugs and eye mask (what do you call that?), and sleep!

I made a mistake. I put on the mask and took a photo first. haha. Then I slept.
Then I woke up after the plane landed, quickly wipe my face with the Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes again, spray the Avene Thermal Water (it's so luxurious!), then put on sunblock.

And I was ready to step into Bangkok!

***I was actually testing the Josie Maran wipes, and trying to empty all the other products. They were deliberately chosen for practical reasons, and are by no means Holy Grail or the Best. However, I do like these product enough to use them to pamper myself, especially the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack and the Avene Thermal Water. They are definitely not lousy products. However, the basis of the routine remains the same, just bring a wipe, a mask, a spray water, a sunscreen, and a lip balm (which was my Burt's Bees Pomegrante that I took out of this pack already).

I guess it kind of got popular after Lisa Eldrige showed us hers (below). Hers is for long-haul flights, but I think skincare routine shouldn't be restricted to just long-haul flights, because all cabins are at lower pressure and drier. You will feel the difference especially if you're from Singapore, where the humidity is much higher than in many countries. So this makes keeping skin hydrated in flight important enough. =D

Do you have an in-flight skincare and/or makeup routine? Or you'd rather be free and play games on the plane?
