Today,  I am going to review a lip liner from the Color Icon range of the brand Wet n Wild, in the shade Chestnut/Marron E 711. Read on the review to know whether this lip pencil has impressed me or not!

My Experience With Wet n Wild Color Icon Chestnut/Marron  (Maroon) E 711 Lip Liner:

The Color Icon range of Wet n Wild has 6 stunning shades. I purchased the shade chestnut from Nykaa India website.

Product Packaging:

Wet n Wild Color Icon Lip Liner Chestnut E 711 comes in a long, brown coloured wooden pencil style fitted with a sturdy transparent cap. The lip pencil is pretty long as compared to standard lip liners and is also colour-coded, so finding it out amongst too many makeup products is not a task! There is no sharpener provided with this lip pencil.

Texture!

Product Texture:

Wet n Wild Chestnut/Marron E 711 is a beautiful brown shade and highly pigmented. The texture is creamy but has a strong artificial fragrance which is at times unbearable, goes away after application though!

Product Performance:

The lip liner feels comfortable on the lips, enhances the lip contour and is not too drying in nature. However, my dry lips need to be moisturized before each application. It goes opaque with just two swipes, covers pigmented lips and glides on smooth providing a matte finish. The lip colour goes so well with nude, brown and pink lipsticks.

Here (pic below), I have customized my lip shade- lined and filled in my lips first with chestnut lip liner and then applied one coat of Revlon pink lipstick (Cherries in the snow 440) on the top of it.

With this lip liner, you can rock simple to bold lip looks. In this photo below, I first lined and filled in my lips with Chestnut/Marron E711 lip liner and then applied Revlon Blushing Nude 637 lipstick. You can top it with lip gloss as well and the output will be definitely impressive!

The colour alone stays on my lips for more than 8 hours without any oily food intake and with that 5 hours max! It’s transfer-proof and prevents bleeding of creamy lipsticks when applied underneath. The lip liner coats the lips in deep colour, just like a lipstick. And the best part, you are getting this at such an affordable price!!
